Cardinia Reservoir Park

Today’s weather was cooler,  but very humid with a smoke haze covering everything.   I visited Cardinia Reservoir Park, and walked from Crystal Brook Picnic area to Duffey’s Lookout picnic area and back. It was only 600m each way, but was fairly steep uphill to start with.

There were two kangaroos in the picnic area when I arrived, but they were not happy to see me.
They hopped off as soon as I started to get nearer.
The old gum trees have such interesting structures and paterns.

More lovely branches
Duffey’s lookout was overgrown, but there were still some views between the trees.
A splash of colour along the path.
