Jamala Lodge and the National Zoo

The second day at Jamala Lodge included another tour, some free time around the zoo, and of course, more great food.

In the afternoon we moved to the giraffe treehouses where we would spend the night. The highlight was feeding the giraffes from the balcony. The giraffes spend the evening and night in an encloure at the rear of the accommodation, so they were still there the next morning (peering through the window to see what we were up to!)

The evening finished with more good food, eaten with a dopey white lion who was recovering from anaesthetic due to a vet appointment earlier in the day.
