Maldon and surrounds

Today started off in Maldon, a beautiful small town with tree lined streets and filled with old shops and houses.   There are also a number of old mining sites around the town, some of which are interesting, but mostly they consist of various holes and heaps of dirt.

I also visited the Mount Tarrengower lookout tower, which provided spectacular 360 degree views, and nearby Cairn Curran Reservoir.

The Parkins Reef walk was 2km of walking past various historic holes and mounds of dirt. Fortunately it was also a quite pleasant walk through the bush.
