Singapore – 3 June

I took a quick free tour of Singapore, we only had 2 short stops, but it was nice to be able to see the city. The way they incorporate plants into their buildings etc is fabulous, and the mix of old and new buildings is really interesting.

The Merlion
There were a huge number of people here, mostly standing in awkward places taking photos. A lot of selfie sticks were in use.

Even more interesting, was watching the people taking photos. It is very important to look your best.
Unless you are posing a trick shot of you catching the water in your mouth, then you can look like an idiot.

  1. Wow! What amazing new architecture. And good to see they retain at least some of the old too. This tour must be a good way for Singapore to attract a few of those tourists who were just passing through to come again and stay a bit longer next time.
